Full Refurbishment of a Victorian Home – Earlsfield

This full refurbishment of a Victorian family home in Earlsfield focused on enhancing the original character of the property while creating a lighter, calmer and more practical home for modern family life.

On the ground floor, we formed a new opening with bespoke double doors, allowing natural light to flow through the Victorian hallway and into the middle reception room. Bespoke panelling was introduced throughout the hallway, study, bathroom and front reception rooms, adding character and architectural detail in keeping with the period of the house.

Practical storage was also an important part of the renovation, with bespoke under-stairs joinery providing dedicated space for coats and shoes. Upstairs, panelling continues into the loft bedroom, alongside bespoke cabinetry cleverly designed to conceal the air-conditioning unit. The new family bathroom also featured a secret storage cupboard, concealed within the panelling. This bathroom was designed with a calm and tranquil feel, through pairing green marble herringbone shower tiles with natural stone floor tiles, and finished off with a beautiful oak vanity.

Throughout the house, we added new antique brass fixtures and fittings as well as statement lighting to create the wow factor and polished look. We finished off this refurbishment with designing bespoke soft furnishings such as blinds, cushions and curtains throughout to tie the colour scheme together and create a considered finish.
