Project Description
A beautiful light and airy modern wood and glass extension to the rear of this Victorian terraced house which has transformed the cooking dining living space.  A utility and living space was created in the basement, upper floors redecorated, new bathrooms fitted and the garden overhauled to create an ideal home for the growing family.

As the coronavirus pandemic hit, we were trying to complete the internal fit and finish, and coordinated and ran a Covid-19 safe site with teams from the builders, plumbers, electricians, kitchen fitters and decorators working around each other to finish their element of the project.  The clients had moved out pre-lockdown and needed to return on a set date.  We managed to take these photos the afternoon before they returned!

“Our initial brief was to rework the kitchen and rear (middle reception) space, as the current layout had frustrated the clients for years, but they were unsure as to how to improve it.  Over time we explored options, developed ideas and assessed these against budgets.  Not  only has this space been transformed into a very beautiful kitchen, living and dining space but all the possible improvements that could be made to create the perfect family home were incorporated”
